Virtual black dog open mic ~ wednesday’s

Hello folks! Every Wednesday the Black Dog Arts Cafe has a virtual open mic event and you are invited! I put a lot of time and energy into creating this event and so happy it grew some wings to fly. I help host every other week along with Jake Rodriguez and if you are interested in performing please fill out this form for July 8th open mic. Every week we organize 12 performers to claim a 15 minute set, encourage original material. If you have songs, jokes, dancing, writing, poetry, film etc… we would love for you to join! This is a Facebook Live Streaming event thru the Black Dog Snoqualmie group page. If you need to use pre recorded material, that is ok :)

Wanted to share an old album I collaborated on with Camelia Jade, Masaru Higasa, Gabriel Herbert, Peter Hsu, Caycee Furulie and Mike Antone. I miss the days of playing music with these friends and I am grateful for the memories we all shared

satellite by night Satellite By Night began with three musicians, jamming from midnight to six in the morning as they discovered their sound. They thought about the dream-energy pulsating its way out of the houses surrounding theirs, about the natural satellite winging its way round the earth in the black sky as they played.

Silver and gold

This is my favorite Neil Young Album for the Fall time. On those cold foggy mornings it’s great to listen to these songs. Especially the first and second cuts.

I am really focusing on my family these days. Just like the song my family “is better than silver and gold”.

I have a gig in October coming up…Oct 19 at Birches Habitat in North Bend. My nephew Parker will be performing with me. More details soon.

Sallal “Grangestock” Open Mic next Friday

Next Friday, come on down to the Sallal Grange in North Bend!  Many great open mic performers will be there & I will be the featured extended set.  Doors, sign up & Food start at 6, Music starts at 7, & my set will be about 8pm.  Hope you can make it!
